By Breaking Belize News Staff (HP): Opposition Leader Tracy Taegar Panton has joined the growing list of Belizeans paying tribute to veteran journalist Aaron Humes following news of his passing.
In a message of condolences shared on social media, Panton described Humes as “a gentle giant and a true professional” who was widely respected for his journalistic integrity and deep passion for the written word.
Panton said Humes was “quiet and unpretentious” but worked tirelessly through his journalism career, leaving behind a lasting impact on Belize’s media landscape.
She also extended sympathies on behalf of the Albert ACTION Committee, the Albert CARE Team and her family to Humes’ loved ones during what she described as a very difficult time.
Tributes for the longtime journalist continue pouring in from across Belize following his passing.
